Mount Alberta - West Face
Mount Alberta - West Face

Incredibly, there is an aspect of Mount Alberta even wilder and less traveled than its infamous North Face: the West Face had not seen a single ascent until Raphael Slawinski and Eamonn Walsh decided in 2007 that its beautiful succession of ribs and gullies needed at least one line. Their ascent does not seem to have been repeated, and there is a lot (a lot) of other real estate prime for the taking.
There are three posters of Mount Alberta, see also the North and East Faces.
