A major formation, accessible straight from the main road in and out of Bai He, Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind (also called The Valley of Freewind) is a 200m slab directly below the road. First discovered because of the attempt on 5.13d "Steve and John" (route 4) on the small pinnacle nearby, by visiting British climber Steve McClure, the slab has since gained a number of multi-pitch routes, with potential for many more.
