Mount Edith Cavell - North Face

The first of the major north faces of the Rockies to be climbed, Edith Cavell is sometimes compared to Grandes Jorasses, with its series of complex buttresses and gullies leading to a long summit ridge. Visible from Jasper town and overlooking the Icefields Parkway, it is a lot less remote than most major peaks in the range, yet as serious as any.
