Moon Hill - Odin's Den

Moon Hill is where it all started in Yangshuo, with a photo of the arch attracting some of the first foreign climbers in China, Sam Lightner Jr and Todd Skinner, all the way back in 1990. Since then, it has been a popular objective, especially with routes like Red Dragon (line 2) and Sea of Tranquility (line 3). Sadly, it has been closed to climbing since 2017 due to rockfall near the tourist viewing platform, and is unlikely to ever reopen. If you still want crazy 3D climbing on tufas and massive arches, have a look at Getu and Shegeng!

Despite its excellent climbing, Odin's Den is not a popular destination, probably due to its long approach and relatively low number of routes.
